CAI Expo Recap: Thank You for Visiting Ready EV Now
Ready EV Now recently participated in the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Illinois Chapter Expo held in February at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. The event brought together condominium and homeowner association board members, property managers, and service providers from across the Chicagoland area to discuss emerging issues affecting community associations.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Ready EV Now booth to learn more about planning electric vehicle charging infrastructure for multifamily residential buildings. Many of the conversations focused on how associations can prepare their properties for increasing EV adoption while maintaining fairness among owners, managing electrical capacity, and complying with the Illinois Electric Vehicle Charging Act.
Throughout the expo, visitors explored several key topics including:
Planning building-wide EV charging infrastructure for condominiums
Structuring equitable cost allocation for charger installations
Understanding Illinois law governing EV charging in community associations
Protecting property values by ensuring buildings remain competitive in the evolving housing market
The strong interest from board members and property managers confirmed that EV charging planning is quickly becoming a priority for many associations throughout the Chicago region.
If you were unable to attend the CAI Expo or did not have a chance to stop by the booth, additional information, white papers, and case studies are available in the Learn section of this website.
Ready EV Now will also be exhibiting at the upcoming CooperatorEvents Chicagoland Spring Expo on May 20, 2026, again at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
Visitors are invited to stop by Booth #122 to continue the conversation about EV charging strategy for condominium and HOA properties.
We look forward to seeing many familiar faces and meeting additional board members and property managers interested in preparing their communities for the transition to electric vehicles.
