Introducing Ready EV Now

The Learn section of the Ready EV Now website is now live. This blog serves as a technical reference library for condominium associations, property managers, and residents evaluating electric vehicle charging infrastructure in existing multi-family buildings. Content will focus on practical guidance, regulatory context, cost structures, electrical capacity planning, and real-world case studies drawn from urban retrofit conditions, with particular emphasis on Chicago-area properties.

About the Ready EV Now Consulting Service

Ready EV Now is an independent consulting practice focused on planning and implementing EV charging strategies for condominium and homeowner associations. The service is designed to bridge the gap between policy requirements, electrical engineering realities, and board-level decision making. Engagements typically include site assessment, infrastructure strategy development, coordination with licensed engineers and installers, and documentation to support board approvals and owner installations. The objective is to enable buildings to become EV-capable in a structured, technically sound, and financially predictable manner.

Name Inspiration

The name Ready EV Now is intentionally referential. It draws inspiration from Ready Player One, the 2018 American science fiction action film directed by Steven Spielberg. The reference is not thematic or stylistic, but conceptual. Just as the film centers on preparation for an imminent technological shift, Ready EV Now reflects the premise that electric vehicles are no longer speculative. Buildings must be ready for EV adoption now, not at some undefined point in the future.

The Learn blog will be updated regularly to support that readiness with clear, technically grounded information intended for decision makers responsible for shared residential infrastructure.
